Dry Cupping Therapy In Whitefield & Manchester

Looking for a Sports Massage Therapist in Whitefield or Manchester for Dry Cupping Therapy?

How Dry Cupping Therapy can help with Back Pain

Dry cupping therapy helps relieve back pain by increasing circulation, reducing muscle tension, and stimulating natural healing processes. By creating suction on the skin, it helps draw blood to targeted areas, easing tightness and encouraging tissue repair for long-term relief.

Increase Blood Flow

Dry cupping draws fresh, oxygen-rich blood to sore or tight muscles, promoting faster healing and reducing inflammation in problem areas.

Relieve Muscle Tension

The suction effect helps release muscle knots and ease deep tension, providing relief from pain and improving mobility.

Boost Recovery

Cupping therapy can support the body’s recovery by stimulating lymphatic drainage and flushing out toxins, helping you bounce back quicker after strain or injury.

Reduce Inflammation

By improving circulation and targeting specific areas of discomfort, dry cupping can help reduce inflammation and support the body's natural healing response.

Commonly Asked Questions About Dry Cupping

Things You Should Know

How does dry cupping work?

Dry cupping uses suction from special cups placed on the skin to increase blood flow, release muscle tension, and promote healing in targeted areas.

What conditions can dry cupping help with?

Cupping is often used to relieve muscle tightness, back or neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, and poor circulation.

Will dry cupping leave marks?

Yes, temporary circular marks are common. These are not bruises but signs of increased blood flow to the area and typically fade within a few days.

Is dry cupping painful?

Cupping may feel like a strong pulling sensation, but it shouldn’t be painful. Most people find it relaxing once the suction is in place.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your condition and goals. Some feel benefits after one session, while others may need a short course of treatments.

Can dry cupping be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely. It pairs well with massage therapy, acupuncture, and physiotherapy to support recovery and relieve tension more effectively.

I have a shoulder injury and been to several places to try and get it healed. Simon is the only person I have been to and felt an instant result. He also treated my son with a football injury on his leg and the problem was resolved in one session.

Fantastic sports massage therapy. I've been using Simone's services on and off for over a year now. If I ever get stiffness in my shoulders or have any muscle pain, he is able to fix it right up. It's actually quite amazing how much looser I feel after a session - I feel like I have a much larger range of motion in my movements!

Simone was great. He took a few minutes to discuss what I needed and check posture/muscles before starting the session. He explained what he was doing throughout and where he could notice muscles stiffness/tension, making sure that muscles were warmed up properly, so that even knots were (mostly!) pain-free when massaged. I felt so much better afterwards, and would definitely recommend!
William Watremez
I booked the 1 hour sport massage session, Simone was welcoming and knowledgeable. He was also happy to exceed the allocated time to make sure he finished the treatment. I also received stretching and strengthening exercises suggestions via email. I strongly recommend.
Federico Papa
Great experience. Simone knows his stuff and made a big impact on my (previously) knackered shoulder. As someone who doesn't really enjoy massages I found this to be a very good overall experience, and I'll definitely be coming back. I am now a loose goose. A supple leopard. A flexible salmon.
Richard Lawler
Would definitely recommend. Simone is a professional and explained everything throughout. After care advise was also provided, which made a huge difference to my rehabilitation. 10/10
Dimitra Tsirogianni
Would recommend. Simone is friendly and knowledgeable. I booked in for a 30 min sports massage to deal with some muscle tightness. He talked me through everything he did during the massage and made some recommendations for what I can do at home to help treat it in the future.
